I am delighted to be partnering with a well-known European brand who are looking to recruit their first ever UK Recruitment Manager. This organisation pride themselves on being market leaders within the manufacturing industry, they have sites across the UK with head office in the Midlands. They are looking for an energetic, highly successful Recruitment Manager to help them achieve their ambitious goals in relation to their people strategy. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys working with a blank canvass, setting up a function and creating a highly efficient service.
Salary up to £60K and hybrid working being offered.
As the UK Recruitment Manager, you will report into the Senior HR Business Partner with a dotted line to the HR Director. You will work closely with HR Shared Services, Head of L&D, IT and Finance. You will have full responsibility and accountability for setting up the entire recruitment function, managing the process and driving the talent acquisition strategy forward whilst developing a strong employer brand in the market.
As the UK Recruitment Manager, you will deliver a full recruitment service for the UK business and will work with teams and hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs and challenges. You will design and implement the recruitment strategy ensuring it is aligned with the overall people plan. You will work with the Head of L&D, to develop a talent pipeline in line with succession plans from a resourcing perspective to increase overall capability. You will also work closely with the head of HR to develop a strong UK graduate programme. You will ensure cost savings by minimising the PSL and re negotiating rates and terms.
This role also has staff management of a recruitment advisor so previous management experience is essential.
Your previous experience in a setting up and running a highly effective recruitment function will be of real interest to my client. You will have ideally worked within a busy fast paced manufacturing, FMCG or Engineering business where you had sole responsibility for all strategic and operational recruitment. You will enjoy the operational side of recruitment, dealing with all aspects end to end as well as looking at the strategy for the organisation and ensuring recruitment is in a line with overall business goals and contributing to business performance. You will need to be a self-starter who can work autonomously and provide innovative and thoughtful ways of working. You must be comfortable in working in a fast-paced environment where you will be expected to delivery fast and effective results.
This role is commutable from Coventry, Warwick, Lemington Spa, Solihull and outskirts of Birmingham.
