A publicly traded, growing life sciences company with 125 domestic employees, is looking to hire a Total Rewards Senior Manager. This is a newly created role within the company, and will report to the company's SVP of HR, based in NJ. The HR team has supported all aspects of rewards for the company, but with the business continuing to scale rapidly, they feel this is the right time to bring someone onto the team who can professionalize their practices in this area.

The company is utilizing ADP Workforce Now as their HRIS, and is in the midst of implementing Netsuite. They're utilizing Radford for compensation market data. While this individual will own all aspects of compensation and benefits planning, compliance, and administration, there are some solid individuals on the team with very good knowledge of benefits on which this Manager can lean, so that compensation will be the core skill set required for success in this role. Our client is seeking candidates with 5+ years of expertise in both compensation and benefits, ideally gained in small environments where they have had to build the function from the ground up. Experience within the life sciences sector would be a plus, as would experience implementing career pathways. An entrepreneurial spirit is key, as this role will entail professionalizing these functional areas and the related support systems. There is a tremendous opportunity for impact in this role, particularly for someone who is comfortable toggling between setting strategy and getting into the gritty minutia of compensation and benefits. An undergraduate degree is required.

Our client is offering a competitive base compensation package + bonus + an initial grant of equity and a generous employee stock purchase plan. This role is hybrid, with an expectation of working onsite 3 days per week. Vaccinations are not required, but employees who cannot provide proof of vaccination will near to wear a mask at all times while onsite for their own protection and the protection of others.
