I am currently partnering with an investment manager who are looking to recruit an SMCR Specialist where you will be responsible for the continual implementation and maintenance of the Senior Manager and Certification Regime (SMCR) and other relevant regulations that apply.
Within this role you will support and help implement process improvements and optimisation initiatives that deliver on the firm's regulatory obligations and you will be responsible for supporting and coordinating SMCR requirements, including the annual certification across the UK business.
You will act as a key point of contact for SMCR queries and managing and maintain all SMCR HR related activities across the employee life-cycle. You will also identify and understand current HR and Compliance business practices and make recommendations which improve efficiency, regulatory compliance and the collation of accurate employee information.
To be considered for this role you will need knowledge and experience of working within a regulated environment within Financial Services with an in depth technical knowledge of current SMCR regulations.
