Our global client is a market leader in cryptocurrency security, having developed a hard wallet for cryptocurrency protection, supporting both B2C and B2B (i.e. enterprise) owners of cryptocurrency. They have had a growing presence in the US market since 2018 and are poised for significant scaling. To this end, they are looking to hire a dedicated New York City- based Senior Talent Acquisition Business Partner to support the maturation of the HR function in this market. The US population is currently 30 employees across an office on the East Coast and the West Coast. The business will likely experience 3x+ organic scaling in the coming year. The US population is comprised primarily of Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support professionals.

Our client has over 600 employees globally and a matrixed HR business model. The Senior Talent Acquisition Business Partner reports to a Global VP of Talent Acquisition, and will be a part of the global HR infrastructure which consists of Global Rewards (compensation, benefits, HR systems, and HR Operations) team, Global Workforce Analytics team (which focuses on culture as well as workforce planning), an HRBP colleague in the US and other global regional locations. Although the US population is small at the moment, the HR leadership team, which is based in Europe, is looking to resource the function well to facilitate a strategic focus. Although this is an individual contributor role for now, you will have the support of an Office Manager/Culture Coordinator on the West Coast, and the HR Centers of Excellence based in Europe. The focus of the role will be hiring primarily for sales, marketing, customer service, and corporate functions with a sprinkling of tech. Our client is seeking someone who can support other markets outside of the US until volume in the US picks up to a point where this resource can be solely dedicated to the US market's hiring needs.

Our client is ideally seeking candidates with 6+ years of recruiting experience. The ideal candidate will have a mix of high-growth, early stage company, as well as large company, best-in-class recruitment expertise. This role will sit onsite on a hybrid basis in Manhattan, with an expectation of 2-3 days per week in office.
