My client has a great opportunity for a highly skilled Recruitment Manager to join their busy manufacturing site in Derby. This role is hands on, fast paced and looks after all vacancies within Supply Chain, Industrial, Quality and Packaging business areas as well as managing all onsite temporary workers. It's a great role for a highly skilled Recruiter who enjoys a fast paced, demanding and commercial role.
Salary is up to £45K + Bonus and Benefits.
As the Recruitment Manager you will report into the Talent Acquisition Manager and be part of the wider industrial HR team. Your main responsibilities within the role will be managing the end-to-end recruitment activities from writing job adverts, screening CV, interviewing to include competency-based interviewing and onboarding of candidates. You will manage all temporary labour on site, working closely with colleagues in production scheduling, HR, and operations to ensure temporary labour requirements are clearly communicated to suppliers and pro-actively manage potential challenges. You will work with colleagues in HR and operations to devise, develop and implement strategies to meet resourcing needs. You will produce regular and ad hoc management information and reports to reflect recruitment activity across your areas of the business and utilise this to influence future activity.
To be successful in this role, you will have a solid background and experience of end-to-end recruitment in a fast-paced business, ideally within FMCG, Manufacturing or Logistics. You'll have an in depth understanding of recruitment best practices, direct sourcing tools and techniques and ideally have managed external suppliers. You will have great communication skills and be comfortable interacting, coaching, influencing and challenging managers at varying levels. You will be able to build strong working relationships quickly and be proactive in your approach. You will have a strong focus on the delivery of metrics and work collaboratively to improve existing processes to assist in the delivery of key performance indicators.
