Our client, an independent, national nonprofit organization devoted to transforming the lives of children and families with mental health and learning disorders, is looking to hire an experienced Payroll Administrator to manage the semi-monthly payroll processing through ADP Workforce Now for 250 plus employees. This role will be seated in the NYC office in a hybrid model.
The firm's ideal hire will take on all responsibilities of processing semimonthly payroll, benefits, taxation, proration, and other deductions compliant with federal and state wage and hour laws. Suited candidates will have 3-5+ years of Payroll experience and a strong skillset in working with ADP Workforce 8.0 or higher. Responsibilities also include maintaining well documented and organized payroll records, being the main point of contact for all employees' questions around pay checks and W2 forms, collaboration with finance and HR personnel to correct payroll errors and or adjustments, along with FLSA and FMLA administration.
The ideal candidate should have an up to date, working knowledge of federal, state, and local compliance regulations, excellent interpersonal skills, impeccable attention to detail, and sound decision-making skills.
