This is a fantastic opportunity with a Bristol based organisation who are looking for a Learning & Development Manager to shape and drive its learning and development agenda within a technical and regulated environment and therefore a particular focus on its site based engineering and project managers.
Reporting to the Head of L&D, you will work closely with Senior Leadership, HR Business Partners, 3rd party suppliers and subject matter experts to effectively identify learning needs and solutions to match the needs of the business. Key themes and focus to this will include:
* Training needs analysis
* Driving the delivery of training and development, and facilitating change
* Establishing a clear vision and strategy for learning & training
* How can technology transform the business
* Working close with the MSP and internal service delivery teams
Many of these programmes will be linked to Health & Safety alongside technical training associated with an engineering population.
The emphasis on this role is about bridging the gap between internal stakeholders and the MSP, working strategically and understanding business requirements. The position requires experience of delivering innovative training and development solutions preferably within a complex technical and/or high regulated environment. The company itself is multisite and engineering led with a diverse workforce, experience of working within a similar environment would be highly desirable. Ideally they are looking for someone who is creative about how you train & develop people and with an agile and flexible approach, able to deliver practical and innovative solutions. It goes without saying that you will be able to work very collaboratively and be an excellent communicator and builder of relationships at senior levels.
While the company is Bristol based there is a large degree of flexibility and a good balance of WFH. They can also accommodate a compressed 4 day week.
