A global professional services firm is looking for a L&D Manager to join their Learning team.
Reporting to the Global Head of L&D, the L&D Manager will be based in their Tokyo, Japan office to support and deliver training programs to the Asia offices, mainly in Tokyo, Singapore, and Hong Kong. This Manager will be a hands-on trainer in facilitation (both in-person and online) including inductions, soft skills as well as hard skills training, coaching programs. He/she will cultivate the learning culture across the regions and will work very closely with the global team to adapt strategies to the local markets. This trainer should also be an expert in training needs analysis to work closely with business leaders to implement new programs to up-skill their staff.
To be qualified for the role, this L&D Manager will need previous sales training experience and will need to speak native/business fluent Japanese given the Japan market is the largest in the region. It is expected most delivery will be done in Japanese. Fluency in English is also required as the role also covers other countries. Strong stakeholders management and ability to adapt to a diverse audience are essential to be successful in this role. High level of technology knowledge and usage are also crucial as the company is adopting many E-learning programs.
