This leading professional services firm based in the City of London is looking for a HR Operations Manager to join its team. In a newly created role this position will see you reporting into the Head of HR and working with a wider generalist and specialist team.
Managing a small team your role will be to lead on all day to day HR Operational projects ensuring best practice across all policy and procedure including employee life cycle and associated employee relations matters from start to end, payroll liaison, benefits activities, performance management, reward and salary review.
You will also oversee and authorise the preparation and issue of contractual documentation in relation to appointments, terminations and variations of employment and manage the firm's Home Office Sponsor Management System (SMS) and general process for Tier 2 sponsorship.
Working closely with the Heads of HR & L&D you will assist with the execution of the People Strategy, project managing assignments and collaborate with L&D and Early Talent Managers to provide a seamless service to the business.
The firm is looking to meet with candidates who are already operating at Manager level and possess strong people management skills and experience. You will enjoy the operational aspects of HR and have clear experience of delivering effective and efficient HR Operations initiatives.
Successful candidates will have professional services experience with excellent working knowledge of employment law with the ability to apply it practically and commercially to workplace situations. A solid understanding of HR best practice and ability to apply this to employee relations cases as well as experience of leading on organisational change projects including restructures and redundancies and TUPE.
