This is a hugely exciting opportunity with a global business that is looking to hire an HR Director for the UK&I. Reporting into the CEO, this is a Board level appointment with responsibility for managing a large HR team with c.1,500 employees located across numerous locations. The company has made large investments in various programmes and new products, this position will further develop and deliver against a significant change and transformation agenda that will modernise the company further.
The company has a proud and successful history and an enviable client list but has needed to invest to modernise and continue to be market leading. With a strong new leadership team and vision & values in place it has embarked on a transformational programme to drive change and the business forward. As such there are a number of projects and areas particularly around developing a performance culture that need focus including: digital transformation, diversity and engagement, talent development, senior leadership development, communications and employee engagement.
You will be a CPO or HR Director with Board level experience, or as part of a senior leadership team within a much larger business, with significant experience of business transformation, change management, restructuring, and defining and delivering a robust People agenda. As such you be an articulate communicator with a strong track record of engaging and building relationships with senior stakeholders. You will have led and managed a large HR team. It is likely your industry experience will have been gained within a Manufacturing/Engineering/Production matrixed multinational, across multiple locations and with a diverse workforce. A strong knowledge of UK employment law is required.
