This is a fantastic opportunity to work within an innovative and fast paced environment for a company based close to Bristol. My client is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner supporting a site based logistics and distribution function and its leadership teams.
Reporting to the Head of HR, the HR Business Partner will work closely with the leadership team to help shape their wider business plan and supported by an aligned People Plan. In addition to being involved operationally and day to day, you will lead people related project work streams, coordinating resources as required, liaising as appropriate with support functions and stakeholders to ensure the successful execution and delivery of project objectives.
You will play a key role in developing and delivering the HR plan to maximise the organisation's/site capability and resource. Working closely with the Site senior teams, and remotely with Group & Central Functions, you will be responsible for:
* HR reporting, policies and processes
* Engagement & communication, including employee relations and working closely with trade union representatives around pay negotiations and shift patterns
* Reward and recognition
* Organisational change
* Performance management
* Talent & recruitment
Ideally your experience will have been gained within a similar industry sector and working environment - manufacturing, supply chain, food production, logistics - as an HR Business Partner who is aligned strategically to the leadership teams and also very comfortable rolling your sleeves up and getting involved operationally. This will include employee relations and Trade Union experience, strong knowledge of UK employment law and the delivery of change management programmes. Alongside your HR generalist experience, you will be able to build and manage relationships at a senior level, possess good business/financial acumen and have great communication skills.
Due to the nature of the position, you will be expected to be on-site full-time.
