We are partnering exclusively with a growing global asset management organisation (HQ in Europe), who are looking for a (Junior) HR Business Partner to join the small & growing Singapore office.
This is a brand new and exciting hire for the organisation based on the anticipated upcoming growth of the firm across the region. Reporting in to a Senior HR/ TA Manager in another office, this individual will be a high potential HR Generalist / HR Manager who is comfortable operating in an individual contributor capacity as part of a small and collaborative global HR team with a relatively flat hierarchy / corporate structure.
You will partner closely with the Asia Leadership team locally (CEO, CFO, Legal Counsel etc) to manage all people / HR related matters across the region in a very hands on HR Generalist position. You will manage: HR Advisory & HR Policy (Asia), Recruitment, Performance Management, Reward, Learning & Talent, HR Operations, Reporting, Employee Relations, HR Admin and implement global HR projects locally (such as office openings, mobilising talent in new geogrpahies etc).
This organisation was set up within the last 15 - 20 years and has grown to circa 500 employees across 17 offices spread across the globe, with a focus on sustainable investments (renewable energy etc). The culture of the organisation is fast-paced, entrepreneurial, progressive and dynamic and the founders are very passionate about doing good in the world and making a difference!
You will be an accomplished HR Generalist or HR Business Partner operating in another global Financial Services (ideally asset management / buy-side) organisation. Experience operating as an individual contributor or as part of a small team in a broad hands-on HR role working closely with leadership is preferable. You must have knowledge of HR policy within Singapore and ideally across Asia due to likely growth in markets such as China, Vietnam, Japan. You would benefit from having circa 6 - 9 years of HR experience within a international matrix firm and able to work relatively autonomously from a regional HR perspective. Degree / HR qualification (preferred). The ability to speak; English language (required) and French / German / Mandarin (beneficial) due to the diverse global team.
