We have a current opportunity for a Head of People on a permanent basis. The position will be based hybrid in Midtown NYC (2 days or more in the office).
Our client, an exciting startup company seeking visionary Chief People Officer with experience leading a startup through hypergrowth and/or quickly scaling a dynamic or developing tech/product company in a short time frame with a focus on people and culture.
This NYC based client is an early stage startup with an incredible, timely mission and socially beneficial purpose. Their platform and business model are unique and well-differentiated in their space. They've quadrupled in size in one year and are poised to grow from 150-500 in two years' time, while expanding across the country. Unique to this position is the firm's already robust and fully built HR operational function and skilled recruitment team with exceptional leaders at their helms, leaving this Chief People Officer to define, nurture and develop a strong employer culture through change and growth, engaging talent and learning programs, and a serve as an inspiring leader offering coaching and development up to and including the C suite.
Successful candidates will come out of high growth, startup and scaling environments that were tech-forward where Culture was their key focus.
You'll have the proverbial "seat at the leadership table" with leadership and the chance to refine and perfect the workings of a wonderful team of talented HR professionals and expert staff. This role will be seated hybrid in their midtown NYC office (2-3 times per week) and will manage and grow a small team. Multistate experience would be very helpful and experience supporting a population of experts (JDs, PhDs, MDs, top technologists or other leaders in their field) is crucial.
