We are delighted to be partnering, on an exclusive basis, with a thriving climate change consultancy, who are building out a global office network to support and advise industrial and government clients on applying technology and process change to deliver emission reductions, renewable energy optimisation, energy efficiency and sustainable land-use. This business is literally thriving and having reached c700 staff they are now ready to appoint their first Head of Compensation to start the design and build of a holistic reward philosophy, capability and team to deliver a best in class compensation and benefits function across their global office network (16 locations and growing). As a result they are keen to meet with Total Reward leaders, who have (ideally) come from within professional services or consultancy, who are passionate about using reward to create a better workplace, happier employees and equitable value creation. Key is someone who has had previous experience of designing and building out a global or EMEA + APAC reward function from scratch. Solid experience in designing and implementing job grading structures, salary systems, bonus schemes, executive compensation and employee shares programs is essential, as is up-to-date knowledge on the latest trends in Total Rewards management. The business employs innovative and strategic thinkers, people who are able to define effective solutions to global climate change challenges, so the Head of Compensation will need exceptional planning and analytical skills, to identify areas of improvement, build an action plan and drive it through to completion. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders is required. Location is London (West End) but with a strong agile working element.
