Diversity & Inclusion Specialist
A boutique Financial Services business is in the market for their first Diversity & Inclusion specialist. In this pioneering role you will run a review on the existing policies and processes and make recommendations to the board to drive, modernise and build out the function.
My client is keen to secure an experienced D&I professional that has worked in small to medium sized firms, who has designed and implemented projects and programmes that will bring about behavioural change to the firm.
Working closely with the senior leadership team and HR, you will be responsible for building and delivering the D&I strategy, developing and maintaining metrics and data to ensure the business and employee commitments to a truly inclusive working environment are ingrained within everything they do. You will be responsible for building and developing strong partnerships with business leaders and external providers to support with the delivery of D&I and ensure there is a clear plan in place and with ROI evaluated consistently.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a business who have a real appetite for change and really build upon the existing foundations they have in place from a D&I perspective. The ideal candidate will have worked within a Diversity & Inclusion role or function, with experience of both delivering and designing a firm's D&I strategy. Alternatively, if you have experience in an HR position with strong exposure to D&I, this could also work. You will be used to working with challenging and demanding stakeholders, be solution-focused and able to thrive within a change-led and fast-paced working environment.
This position will be suitable for someone who truly believes and is passionate about the delivery of an inclusive and diverse workforce and able to think creatively, autonomously and not be afraid to challenge the norm.
The successful person will have worked in a comparable Diversity leadership role and have a good understanding of the need to evidence delivery and results. There is a focus on gathering and analysing quantitative and qualitative data and communicating conclusions in clear and compelling way, therefore a good level of numeracy is essential.
