Our client, a small non-profit firm, is seeking a Director of Human Resources & Administrative Services to support their NYC midtown/Penn Station area office in support of 60+ employees. The ideal candidate will have experience from a smaller company environment where they've had to run all aspects of the human resources function along with administration. A Bachelor's Degree is required along with steady track record of tenure with prior employers. Experience within the non-profit or closely related sector is highly preferable. HR duties will include employee relations, training, staffing, compensation, benefits, compliance, HRIS & performance management. Administrative services responsibilities include planning & coordinating senior level meetings, event planning for office functions, oversight of the mailroom & records areas, workers compensation, office moves, facilities, liaising with landlord, etc. Will manage two direct reports.
